Pizza and Soft Serve at Moto Pizza at Bellevue Square
A Lunch Pie (personal sized pizza) from Moto Pizza. This is the Kissd pizza with pepperoni, spicy sausage, and hot honey!
It's so easy to get our hands on the pizza from Moto now! They have a few more locations other than West Seattle, where we first tried this incredible Detroit-style pizza last year. When Moto originally opened, their pizza was so popular they had a waitlist of three months! That long to wait for a pizza! Their pre-orders on their website would sell out in minutes. They eventually got more equipment, expanded, and were able to except walk up orders and same day pre-orders.
They have four more locations now, so we visited their Bellevue Square one. They have the Lunch Pies here, along with salads and soft serve. You order on a screen and then you can grab a table. The wait for our pizza was fifteen minutes. The personal-sized lunch pies are two large pieces and are priced around $12. I was able to get two meals out of mine, so this was a good deal.
I chose the Kissd pizza. This Detroit-style was covered in pepperoni, spicy sausage, the Moto cheese blend, parmesan, and hot honey! It was packed with flavor, nice and spicy, and the thick crust was amazing. Since Detroit-style pies have that tasty, caramelized crust, it hits the spot every time!
I also ordered a cup of soft serve with two flavors. You can choose one or two, swirled together. I selected Watermelon and Blue Goo (blue raspberry, I'm guessing). You can also add a topping for $1, so I chose Fruity Pebbles. This was $5 for the ice cream, which wasn't bad at all. The ice cream tasted just like cereal, in the best way. It was sweet, crunchy, creamy, and tasted like my childhood.
Pizza and ice cream, and a little shopping at the mall is my idea of heaven! Not bad for a weekday lunch!
