Holiday Eats and Drinks for December 2024

Since yesterday was Christmas, I'm sharing my food and drink posts from December. We tried a lot of unique and festive cocktails this year. Most of them made it into other posts, but a few didn't so I'm sharing them here. I also baked a few items for Christmas such as Chocolate Cheesecake and Peppermint Snowball Cookies.

I hope your Christmas was merry and bright, filled with good things to eat, and wonderful people to share it with.

I made a Chocolate Cheesecake and topped it with peppermint whipped cream. It was rich, but really tasty. I used the recipe from here. It was a no-bake cheesecake.

I bought these cute bird cocktail glasses on Amazon. There was a set of two, but unfortunately, I broke one accidentally right away. They are very breakable. I had some boozy Eggnog in mine, yum!

At Outback Steakhouse, I tried this Gingerbread Cookie Martini. So cute!

I had a Gingerbread Oat Milk Latte from Starbucks to start the holiday season off right.

Tony's Chocolate bars are so good! This year they have a special holiday bar which is Milk Chocolate Gingerbread.

The bar looks so cool with the tree in the middle.

At Starbucks Reserve in SODO they have an Eggnog Espresso Martini. This was fantastic!

I made my standard chocolate fudge. It just uses chocolate chips, vanilla, seasalt, and sweetened condensed milk. I usually make it every year.

A Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks!

These Peppermint Snowball Cookies were so good! The recipe I used wasn't the greatest though. My cookies flattened while baking, so I had to re-shape them into balls after baking.

For Christmas Eve I made myself a Peppermint Martini. I used Peppermint Vodka and Bailey's. Then I garnished with a candy cane and peppermint whipped cream.

For Christmas Day we had Espresso Martinis from a mix we bought at Trader Joe's. A bottle with four servings was just $10. I was also smooth tasting and strong. I would buy it again.

Here are a few extra holiday photos from the season! We checked out the annual Winterfest at Seattle Center to see the holiday train.

My mom sent me a handmade wreath from Montana! So good smelling and pretty! She makes these every year and collects the pine and everything herself.

Thanks for checking out some of my holiday eats and more! Merry Christmas!
