Checking out Hometown Holidays and Dinner at Pegasus Pizza

Our family checked out West Seattle's Hometown Holidays events. This annual event is held in the Junction area on California Ave. There's a Christmas market with around thirty vendors, a beer garden, and a stage with live music. The event itself was small and the night was chilly. We didn't stay long, just long enough to walk around, and then buy my sons each a pastry from the Little Prague European Bakery stall. My son chose a Cream Cheese and Lavender Danish, and my other son picked a Nutella Chocolate Cinnamon Roll. Both items looked so good, and they really enjoyed them!

They did light up their big Christmas Tree at 6 pm, but we had already left the event by then. We were hungry, so we popped into Pegasus Pizza. The restaurant was cozy and decorated for the holidays. We had eaten at their old location on Alki Beach years ago, but we couldn't remember the style of pizza it was. Their pizza is really cheesy, and the crust is on the thicker side. I loved it! But I love most pizza I try.

My husband had a Greek Goddess cocktail. It looked festive and was garnished with a sprig of rosemary. We also shared a half order of the Greek Salad. It tasted amazing and was a huge portion for $10. We all shared a large pizza with half cheese and half pepperoni. I took a bunch of photos of their cute Christmas Trees, because of course I did!

This was a fun Saturday night out in West Seattle during the holiday season!
