Dinner at Miyaki Sushi

The Spicy Tuna roll from Miyaki Sushi in Tukwila.

When you find a gem of a restaurant and wonder why you've never visited before! I don't know why we slept on Miyabi Sushi, but now our life can really begin. They're currently celebrating 19 since they opened and giving away a cute tote bag to each table. If you love Japanese cuisine, I suggest you try this spot by Westfield Southcenter!

They even have a full bar, and I tried one of the best cocktails ever- A Yuzu Drop. Yuzu is a bright, citrusy flavor and one of my new favorite things. At Miyabi Sushi, you can get it with Vodka and Triple Sec or with Rum, in a Daiquiri. My husband's cocktail was the Okinawa Breeze. This colorful green drink had all kinds of things! It had vodka, gin, rum, tequila, blue curacao, orange juice, and Sprite.

I tried the Happy Tuna. This colorful sushi roll had spicy tuna and cucumber topped with tuna, albacore, and tobiko. Tobiko is flying fish roe. It tasted super fresh, and I loved every bit of it. Highly recommend! My husband had the Super Nitro Roll. This roll had shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, and cucumber and was topped with spicy tuna, tempura flakes, tobiko, and sauces. My son had the Dragon Roll which is a California Roll with Eel and scallion. Both of them really liked their rolls!

My other son wanted the adorable kid's Bento Box which came in a Bullet Train. So cute and unique! Inside the train was Teriyaki Chicken, rice, fried Gyozas, a tasty noodle salad I tried, Miso soup, orange slices, a yogurt drink, and green peas. All of our food tasted amazing, and I can't wait to return, try another Yuzu cocktail, and more sushi. Congrats to 19 years, Miyabi Sushi!
