Happy Hour and Dessert in Capitol Hill

Happy Hour Street Tacos with Carne Asada and a Miami Vice from Poquitos.  Poquitos is located in Capitol Hill and they're serving up authentic Mexican cuisine and cocktails. Their happy hour deal is a good one- during Ocho hour, everything on the happy hour menu is just $8! I went with a Miami Vice, a classic Pina Colada with Strawberry. This blended cocktail was so fruity and delicious. To eat I had two Carne Asada Street Tacos and a Birria Poquitos Burrito. The Burrito was small and served with a side of Consommé sauce. Both food items were tasty and satisfying.  My husband also had some Street Tacos and a Margarita from the happy hour menu. My sons had a Cheese Quesadilla and beans and rice. Fall and Halloween Moments

Happy Halloween and Fall! This month I tried some fun Halloween treats around Seattle. I also took some pretty photos showcasing the autumn colors. Have a Happy Halloween!

At Westfield Southcenter I discovered the store BoxLunch. This store is filled with Disney merch, which I wasn't expecting. I found this cute Mickey Pumpkin and a Halloween coffee mug with Mickey and friends!

Some pretty fall colors at Maple Wood Playfield in Seattle.

Check out these Halloween themed cocktails at BJ's Brewhouse my husband and I tried! The unLucky Ducky and the Boo-Berry Sour drink.

For my free Birthday dessert at BJ's Brewhouse, I got the Spooky Pizzokie and it was scary good!

On my birthday, I got my free Starbucks drink. I chose the Iced Pumpkin Chai with Oat Milk.

For my birthday cake I bought some mini cupcakes and then decorated them with some Disney Halloween cake toppers I found on Amazon.

I baked some Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies! I found the recipe here on Chasety.com.

Kabota Gardens near Renton is a great spot to visit and walk around this time of year!

Another shot from Kabota Gardens.

I made some Pumpkin Chocolate Chip muffins for a potluck at my sons' school's Open House. I found the recipe here at Allrecipes.com.

Some more fall colors in my neighborhood.

At The Flora Bakehouse I got this Orange Creamsicle sundae with a ghost meringue. So cute for Halloween!

What are you doing to celebrate the fall season and Halloween?
