Two spots at Pike Place Market not to miss

An Orange Mocha from Pike St. Coffee at Pike Place Market!

I love exploring Pike Place Market. This historic Seattle attraction is a food lover's dream. The market is expansive and ever changing. Even locals such as myself enjoy checking this area out from time to time. New local businesses open, the seasons change and so does the produce, and there's always somewhere delicious to dine. On my latest visit, we grabbed a warm mocha at Pike St. Coffee and we wandered around the Paris-Madrid Grocery. Both of these spots are located on Western Ave.

Pike St. Coffee is located on the Pike Place Hill Climb and was established in 2022. This coffee shop is bright and welcoming, and also sells locally made items like candles and soaps. I ordered an Orange Mocha. They have some unique coffee flavors such as turmeric, and even a lavender latte. My mocha had a nice, subtle orange flavor that paired well with the rich chocolate. It gets two thumbs up from me!

The Paris-Madrid Grocery has been a Seattle institution since 1995 when it was originally called the Spanish Table. This month the store officially has new owners. The owner from the Spanish restaurant, The Harvest Vine, now owns this specialty food store. This shop features food and wine from Spain, France, and Portugal.

They have an expansive selection of wine. Cheese lovers will feel right at home, and there's a nice selection of Spanish Ham, Chorizo, and Pate. We found some small bags of unique chips with flavors like Truffle and Foie Gras. We bought these along with a small bar of Milk Chocolate and some incredible dark chocolates filled with fig and almonds. This shop at Pike Place Market will transport you to Europe and if you're a foodie, it's a fun place to check out.
