Christmas Moments from 2023
Today is the day after Christmas, so I wanted to do a blog post from highlights of my Christmas season/ month of December. These shots are the ones that didn't make it into my other post like decor, baking, festive drinks, and if I only got a shot or two from a holiday event I wanted to share!
I hope you had a special holiday season! Have a Happy New Year!
One of the new Starbucks holiday drinks this year was this Iced Gingerbread Chai Oat Milk Latte. It tasted like Christmas!
I wanted to buy a Santa mug and I found this one on Amazon.
At the Georgetown Holiday Market at the end of November, I tried a cupcake from Batters Bakery. This Christmas Tree cupcake was so cute!
On our Disneyland trip this year, I purchased this super cute Christmas ornament to celebrate the Disney 100th Anniversary. I was excited to put it on my tree!
At Starbucks Reserve in Seattle's SODO, they currently have these tasty Peppermint Mocha Espresso Martini's. Highly recommend if you like peppermint and Espresso Martini's.
Some more decor I bought this month on Amazon. These cute Christmas Trees come with four different sized trees.
Currently at Krispy Kreme, they have doughnuts from the movie, Elf. We had an Elf movie night while having one of these yummy, themed doughnuts!
At Ross, I found this adorable Hello Kitty holiday mug. I use it every morning!
My mom in Montana made wreaths again this year! This one looks so good and smells like fresh pine. She gathers everything from her yard and makes them for me and her other relatives.
I made a Peppermint Ice Cream shake and I added Bailey's to it. It was so minty and creamy! I also made a quick buttercream with red food coloring for the rim of the glass and added candy cane pieces. This was such a good shake!
I've been having so much fun with my new Dash mini waffle maker I bought at Costco. It comes with different plates for each season. This Gingerbread Man one was so cute!
In the middle of the month, I got to chaperone my sons' field trip to the PNW Nutcracker! This is a holiday tradition for many people and was such a lovely performance!
On Christmas Eve I baked these Chocolate Peppermint Cookies! They had a really fudgy and minty flavor. I dipped them in white chocolate and sprinkled the cookies with candy cane pieces. I found the recipe for these cookies here.
