Halloween and Fall Moments

"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers". -Ann of Green Gables

October is a special month. Not only is it my birth month, but the fall colors are breathtaking. And who can forget the fun Halloween treats? This post doesn't have any fall foliage photos, but instead, some of my fall decor and the different spooky treats I've had this month!

Today is the perfect day to post this because it's National Pumpkin Day! I've been putting together images for this post since the beginning of September and I was going to post it today, not even knowing that it was National Pumpkin Day. It was meant to be!

To remember the Disney trip our family took this year, I bought these adorable Mickey Pumpkins on Amazon. They're small, about two inches tall apiece. I also purchased a bag of white pumpkins to put around my house.

Along with the Mickey Pumpkins, I also bought this cute Mickey Pumpkin Welcome sign to put up dear my front door in my living room. I also found this on Amazon. Fall decor is nice because, if you decorate on September 1st like I did this year, you can keep it up until you decorate for Christmas.

With each new season, Starbucks spoils us with some new coffees to try. This fall I tried the new Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte. This tasted like Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream. I loved this one!

Speaking of Pumpkin drinks I love, I also tried the brand-new Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini from the Starbucks Reserve in SODO. They took two drinks we enjoy, a PSL and an Espresso Martini, and put them together. Highly recommend this martini if you visit a Starbucks Reserve!

At Target I found these spooky Halloween sugar cookies. They were cute, but too hard!

At Target, I also found these Fall coasters! They were only two bucks and super cute for my living room.

At the bakery by my house, the Flora Bakehouse, they have seasonal soft serve. I chose the Trick or Treat sundae which had chocolate soft serve, M&M's, and Halloween Oreos. This was all topped with a green toy spider. It was scary good!

I baked these Count Cholula's! They're from a Betty Crocker mix and were so good.

At Dochi Donuts near Southcenter Mall they have Halloween Donuts. We tried the Chocolate Web and the Witch's Brew. The Chocolate Web had a toy spider and the Witch's Brew was Ube flavored. So good!

I got a new mini waffle maker at Costco. You can switch out the cooking plates to make different shapes and it comes with six ones. I made pumpkin waffles that turned out so cute. I used a little bit of yellow and red food coloring to make orange colored waffle batter. I also used the waffle recipe that came with the waffle maker. I can't wait to use the Christmas tree, snowflake, gingerbread man, and the heart one when those holidays come!

Do you like the fall season? What season is your favorite?
