Christmas 2022 Moments

The Christmas Season for 2022 is wrapping up and we're in the week between Christmas and New Year's where time seems to stand still. It's a nice time to reflect on the month of December and the fun things we did! This post will have photos of decor, some baking, and other fun things that didn't make it into my precious Christmas posts. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

I found this pre-made and ready to assemble Gingerbread House at Costco for just $13.99. Keep an eye out for this next year! My sons and I had so much fun decorating this. We'll probably do it again next Christmas.

I found this adorable Mickey Mouse coffee cup at Ross. I've been drinking my coffee out of it all December!

I found some nice smelling holiday candles this year at Burlington and I've been burning them all season. Candles add such a nice vibe on a winter's evening.

My mom in Montana made wreaths this year and mailed me one. We love it! I always keep my wreaths up until February or so, or until it dries out.

Another good Costco find this December were these yummy and huge Gingerbread Cupcakes. I froze half of them to enjoy later in the month.

It's not the holiday season until you get some Starbucks in one of their holiday cups! This was a Caramel Brulee Latte.

We love the soft serve at Somi Somi at Westfield Southcenter. For their seasonal flavor they had a Cookie Butter flavor. It was topped with Biscoff Crumbles, too!

One of the recipes I made this month was this Snickerdoodle Fudge. It tasted amazing, but unfortunately didn't set up great. It made taking photos of it hard so it didn't get its own post!

Our family went to a Christmas concert in Kent this month and we were close to a Dairy Queen. I love their soft serve, so we just had to get a treat. This is their holiday flavor, Candy Cane Chill Blizzard. It was awesome tasting!

My sons and I also made sugar cookies and decorated them. I used my Mickey Mouse cookie cutter and then added red sprinkles and peppermint candies on the ears!

One snowy day, we had quite a few in Seattle this month) my family and I walked the two blocks to the Flora Bakehouse. I tried their signature Mulled Wine. It hit the spot and warmed me right up!

At a candy shop I found this cute and novelty candy cane shot glass. It's edible, even! I put Bailey's in mine and it was so delicious!

For a Christmas Eve cocktail, I made a Spiked Eggnog drink. I used two parts eggnog and one part rum. On the rim of the glass, I spread frosting and then added crushed candy cane pieces. I then garnished the cocktail with a candy cane. It was one sweet and delicious drink!

For Christmas morning breakfast, I made canned cinnamon rolls, but I shaped them into Christmas trees and added sprinkles. We also had scrambled eggs and fresh fruit.

Thanks for checking out some of my Christmas memories from this year! I hope you have an awesome and safe New Year. Here's to many wonderful things for 2023!
