Dinner at Dock and Drink

For lakeside dining in Renton, we checked out Dock and Drink inside the Hyatt hotel. They have a lodge style tent set up with a full bar and lots of seating. It was dark when we arrived, so we couldn't enjoy the lake views, but that was fine. 

They have a QR code where you can order on your phone, but something went wrong and we just ordered with our server. The service was pretty slow and I had to get our cocktails from the bar myself. We ordered the artisan bread, but it never came and luckily we weren't charged for it. We also ordered the Spinach and Artichoke dip with bread. The dip was served cold and the bread was quite hard. We also got two of the Margherita Flatbreads. My sons really liked it, but the quality of the pizza wasn't too great. Maybe one of the other kinds would have been better. The drinks were good, though. My husband had a Mad Man, which is like an Old Fashioned. I sipped on an Aperol Spritz. 

Although the food wasn't anything great, the feel of the space, the drinks, and the music was nice. This might be more of a spot to just grab a pre-dinner drink. This Hyatt Hotel was really nice and there is another more upscale place to dine. Dock and Drink is more family friendly and casual.
