Dinner at Purple Cafe and Wine Bar
A tasty Sidecar Cocktail at Purple Cafe and Wine Bar in Downtown Seattle.
A Saturday night out in downtown Seattle was spent dining out at Purple Cafe and Wine Bar. We love their iconic wine tower which dominates the center of the restaurant. The menu is full of lots of cheese options, salads, burgers, and steak. I started with a Sidecar and it was perfectly sweet and tangy with a nice sugared rim. My husband had a Manhattan, one of his favorite drinks.
I ordered two appetizers as my meal. I had the Baked Brie and the Burrata with tomatoes. Both items were really fresh and well, cheesy! My sons shared an order of the kid's macaroni and cheese. We also shared an order of fries which were amazing. They were shoestring fries and had just the right amount of salt. My husband had the Cranberry Chicken Salad which was slightly underwhelming and a little under seasoned.
For dessert we shared the Cherry Apple Crisp with Vanilla Bean ice cream. It was pretty small and disappeared quickly! I love the vibe and look of the restaurant at Purple Cafe. It's definitely worth a visit to grab some wine and cheese if you've never been!
