Christmas Memories from 2020

Here are some of my fun and festive Christmas shots from this year! I did some baking of course. I made four kinds of cookies. Even with Covid going on, my family and I still had a fun December. We managed to get out of the house a bit and check out the decorations and lights around Seattle and Bellevue. This year was different, and I hope next Christmas that things are back to normal and we can gather with our extended family again.

It's not the holiday season without some Eggnog! I had a little bit with some rum and it was so good. Don't forget the cute candy cane stir stick!

We managed to get over to Bellevue to check out Snowflake Lane. It wasn't busy at all and we got to enjoy the scene and take in the moment.

Krispy Kreme always has good holiday doughnuts and this year was no exception. These tasted rich and really sweet!

One of the cookies I made were these tree sugar cookies.

I found this cute Christmas decoration at Rite Aid and really it!

On Amazon, I found a Mickey Mouse cookie cutter and made these fun cookies!

Of course, I had to make some Gingerbread Man! Cookies are so fun to decorate at Christmas time!

For breakfast on Christmas Eve, I made some Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls. To mix things up, I added chocolate chips and marshmallows to make these Hot Cocoa Cinnamon Rolls. Yum!

For Christmas Eve, we had various appetizers. I made this Caprese salad in the shape of a candy cane. There was mozzarella, basil, cherry tomatoes, salt, and balsamic vinaigrette. It tasted really good and fresh. We also had rolls, Mac & Cheese bites, and BBQ Smokies. For our Christmas dinner we cooked Turkey, Brussel Sprouts, and mashed potatoes. So much good food!

On Christmas Eve day I baked these Snickerdoodle Kiss cookies. You can find the recipe I used here, from Baked by Rachel.

Thanks for checking out my Christmas post! I hope you have a wonderful New Years and that 2021 is an awesome year!
