A stay at Oxford Suites in Spokane, WA

I wanted to share about the hotel we stayed at in Spokane. As usual, this post isn't sponsored, I just wanted to post about it here. For me, its fun to look back at the places I've stayed.

On our way back to Seattle from MT, we stayed overnight at Oxford Suites in Spokane Valley. This hotel was super convenient since its located across from the Spokane Valley Mall. We like to eat and shop there when we come through Spokane. We were really impressed by the hotel. We had requested a room with a river view and we weren't disappointed. The view was gorgeous.

We also arrived an hour and a half early and they let us check in early. They gave us a room on the top floor. Everything was really nice and the room was big and spacious. It was really comfortable and relaxing. I liked all of the design elements in the room, like the lighting fixtures at the desk, and the art on the wall. I didn't expect there to be a table and a couch, so that was convenient for our family of four.

Staying at a hotel during this time of Covid-19 is interesting. You need a mask to enter the hotel and during check-in, and basically when you're not in your room. The pools and gyms are closed right now. For the free breakfasts, each hotels is different but you will receive something to eat. The first place we stayed in Spokane, the Baymont Inn and Suites in Spokane Valley, gave each guest a to-go bag of food which was in the lobby. The brown bag had fruit snacks, an orange, a granola bar, a muffin, and a boxed juice. Not the most healthy, but at least they offered something. Because of less staff, we actually had to check in and get any kind of service from the hotel next door, their sister property.

At Oxford Suites, they gave us the option of either dining in the breakfast room or getting a bag to-go. We opted for the dine-in option and we found the service to be extra friendly and clean. There was only one other family dining there. We were really impressed by the breakfast. They cooked us scrambled eggs, sausage links, and crispy potatoes to order. Everything was really hot and fresh. They also had coffee, fruit, juice, and muffins.

I liked everything so much at this hotel, that we'll be staying here next time we visit my family in Montana.

Thanks for following along on my MT posts! I had fun doing these eight blog posts and I'm glad they've kept me busy during this weird time. I'm so happy and grateful we were able to travel to MT and see my parents, my aunts, and my uncle. We kept our circle really small for who we saw. My family practiced common sense with our hand washing, mask wearing, and all of that. We stayed healthy and those around us healthy, and we had an amazing time!
