The pepperoni cups on my pizza at Mioposto were perfection. |
For our wedding anniversary we decided to go out to eat. Seattle's still in Phase 1.5 because of Covid and a lot of places aren't open yet. I did a little research and found that
Mioposto was opened. They have several locations in the Seattle area. This Italian spot is one we'd been wanting to try. Mioposto in Italian means "my place". We visited their Mt. Baker spot. We arrived early because we didn't want to wait for a table. Since we arrived before 5:00, there was only one other table dining and we were there for happy hour. They ask that you wear a mask when not at your table. If you don't have one, they have masks for you.
My husband and I each started with a Sidecar cocktail with Brandy. It felt so normal and right, sitting in a cute Italian restaurant and sipping a strong drink. Then we had some bread with olive oil and shared a Caesar salad. The happy hour prices were really decent and everything we ordered was from that menu. The personal sized pizzas were only $7 for 8 inch pizzas. Our boys shared a Cheese pizza, my husband chose the Margherita, and I had the Pepperoni.
For our second round of drinks, my husband had a Manhattan and I had a Hemingway Daiquiri, which was only $6. The pizzas were really fresh and authentic. My Pepperoni pizza was incredible with the little pepperoni cups. Can you say delicious? For me, the serving size was just right and I polished off mine.
This neighborhood pizzeria and bar is a spot I'd return to. Especially to take advantage of the great happy hour deals. The quality of the cocktails and pizza were spot on!

An overhead shot of all the deliciousness. |

Pepperoni pizza is always a good idea. Their crust was really decent, too. |

You could have my heart or we could share it like the last slice.
