Dinner at Italian Family Pizza on First Hill

A huge slice of cheese pizza from Italian Family Pizza. 

Head to Italian Family Pizza for gigantic 23" pizzas. But bring your crew, because the large size pizzas are the biggest I'd ever seen. They also offer small size pies which are 12". The four of us ordered a large cheese pizza. They also have a full bar which a couple of specialty cocktails. I had the 212 which has tequila, aperol, and grapefruit juice. My husband had a Grey Goose Martini. The cocktails were strong and I really liked the flavor of my 212.

The huge pizzas seem like a novelty food since they're probably the biggest in Seattle. But how did it taste? Well, it looked awesome with lots of cheese and a thin New York style crust. But for some reason, the sauce wasn't distributed properly. I don't know if that was intentional or was a mistake.
Some parts of the pizza had too much sauce and then other parts had none. I was confused, but the crust was really good, so I kept on eating away. Each slice was ginormous. The four of us managed to polish off half. So not the best pizza in Seattle for me, but the size made it fun and different.
