Happy Hour and Dessert in Capitol Hill

Happy Hour Street Tacos with Carne Asada and a Miami Vice from Poquitos.  Poquitos is located in Capitol Hill and they're serving up authentic Mexican cuisine and cocktails. Their happy hour deal is a good one- during Ocho hour, everything on the happy hour menu is just $8! I went with a Miami Vice, a classic Pina Colada with Strawberry. Georgetown Carnival 2019

Every June we attend the Georgetown Carnival. We always enjoy strolling around Seattle's oldest neighborhood and taking in the scene. This event has something for everyone. There's performance artists, carnival games, art to look at, and food trucks. Every year I try to find something different to nosh on. Nothing jumped out to me so I let my family choose. Our sons went for some Dipping Dots Ice Cream. My husband wanted to try a potato on a stick from the Potato Tornado Truck. He picked some Garlic Parmesan as his topping. Then we sat on the edge of the sidewalk and had our grub. There's nothing like festival food on a sunny day, while people watching and knowing summer's around the corner.
