San Gennaro Festival 2017
To wrap of the season of festivals in Seattle, my son and I attended the San Gennaro Festival in Georgetown. This was the fifth year this Italian Street Festival took place and you can read here about my visit last year. The San Gennaro Festival celebrates the Italian community and you can find a live stage, a beer garden, and local vendors. This year we tried some pizza from the Tutta Bella truck. We bought a Margherita Pizza and a Bambino Pizza. Tutta Bella is one of my favorite pizzas in Seattle so I was in no way disappointed. The quality is so top notch and authentic. It was the perfect choice of pizza for the festival to sell. It was fun to get the pizza from the truck since we usually go have it at for happy hour time Columbia City. Then we walked around a little bit and saw the stage, someone in a cool cheese stick costume, and some Vespa's parked in front of the beer garden.
