Happy Hour and Dessert in Capitol Hill

Happy Hour Street Tacos with Carne Asada and a Miami Vice from Poquitos.  Poquitos is located in Capitol Hill and they're serving up authentic Mexican cuisine and cocktails. Their happy hour deal is a good one- during Ocho hour, everything on the happy hour menu is just $8! I went with a Miami Vice, a classic Pina Colada with Strawberry. The Georgetown Carnival 2017

I attended the Georgetown Carnival again this year. I live so close, there's no reason not to check it out. Between the live music, food trucks, performance artists, people watching, and more, its something I look forward to every June. This time I took my son and he is big enough now to know what he's seeing and actually enjoy it. We both liked the guy juggling and doing tricks and my son  had fun clapping along with the crowd. His favorite part about the carnival was the huge bag of kettle corn we bought. We both are suckers for popcorn, so we happily munched on the kettle corn as we walked around and took in everything. The sunny Saturday was perfect for the event and we both had fun. I'm looking forward to attending more festivals this summer, as Seattle boasts many different kinds.
