Happy Hour and Dessert in Capitol Hill

Happy Hour Street Tacos with Carne Asada and a Miami Vice from Poquitos.  Poquitos is located in Capitol Hill and they're serving up authentic Mexican cuisine and cocktails. Their happy hour deal is a good one- during Ocho hour, everything on the happy hour menu is just $8! I went with a Miami Vice, a classic Pina Colada with Strawberry. This blended cocktail was so fruity and delicious. To eat I had two Carne Asada Street Tacos and a Birria Poquitos Burrito. The Burrito was small and served with a side of Consommé sauce. Both food items were tasty and satisfying.  My husband also had some Street Tacos and a Margarita from the happy hour menu. My sons had a Cheese Quesadilla and beans and rice. A step inside DeLaurenti Specialty Food and Drink

There are many worries in life but finding a good treat inside Pike Place Market isn't one of them. If you're visiting Pike Place and you're hungry for a meal or a snack, then I promise you won't have a problem finding something that suits your fancy. One nice choice for a little something to nosh on is DeLaurenti Specialty Food and Drink. They have Italian imports of cheese, meat, wine, olive oils, and much more. If you don't need anything for your pantry or fridge at home, they have pizza slices, sandwiches, cookies, and pastries to purchase in the front of the store. There are also tables and stools to enjoy your snack and people watch. I selected a raisin croissant, two small jam-filled cookies, and one macaroon, for my family and I to eat while we walked around Pike Place. My husband and I split the croissant and like all pastries, it tasted like a little bit of heaven. The bread was so soft and the raisins gave it just a little bit of sweetness. The macaroon was dense and satisfied my craving for coconut. But it turned out our sons aren't big coconut fans, oh well, more for us.
