The Space Needle, all lit up for the Holidays, from Kerry Park

Tonight I went to Kerry Park to photograph the Space Needle at night, all lit up with the Christmas lights.  Kerry Park is located in Queen Anne in Seattle and is very popular with photographers because of the view of the city, Elliott Bay and Mt. Rainer.  I've photographed the skyline and the Space Needle from Kerry Park before but not at night with the Christmas lights.  Let me tell you, it was freezing.  There's something about touching a freezing cold tripod and while trying to set up your camera and take a few shots in the cold.  Brrr. I'm glad to be home now with the heat blasting.  Of course, its always worth it for a photo.
