Happy Hour at Mioposto in West Seattle

A Pepperoni Pizza from Mioposto's happy hour menu.

Since 2006 Mioposto has been loved by locals for their Italian cuisine. This family-owned business has four locations in the Seattle area. They serve wood-fired pizzas, handcrafted cocktails, along with small plates, sandwiches, and salads. They offer brunch every day until 3 pm, and sell pizzas topped with sunny side up eggs, and there's even a Breakfast Stromboli.

Their daily happy hour brings in the patrons, with people lining up on weekdays at 4:45 for inexpensive pizza and drinks. Their daily happy hour is from 3-6 pm and the pizzas are just $11. We visited on a Friday at 4:40 and we ended up waiting for thirty minutes. The restaurant was packed, and we were seated at a table for four they had pushed right next to a table for two. There was no privacy at all, even though the two ladies looked friendly, our whole conversation could be overheard. Not a problem for us, but this could be awkward for a lot of diners. They really cram you in here, but it is happy hour and the whole vibe is pretty casual.

They have some signature cocktails on the happy hour menu. I selected a Hemingway's Daiquiri for $10. My husband ordered a happy hour Manhattan. The four of us each got a pizza from the Happy Hour menu. I chose my tried-and-true Pepperoni, and it tasted awesome. At Mioposto they use a wood-fired oven, so the crust has the perfect chew, and the edges are slightly charred.

Check out Mioposto for happy hour, if you like good deals on excellent pizza. I promise it will be worth the wait!
