Everything we ate and drank in Epcot

The Candy Trio Dole Whip Flight, a fun and whimsical signature food item from the Festival of the Arts at Epcot.

Even though our Epcot day was a rainy one, we were still able to eat some good food! Luckily for us, only half of our park day was rainy, so we were able to take in some views of The World Showcase and check out some of the Festival of the Arts. Although we ate lunch at Space 220, we enjoyed some snacks and ate dinner in the America Pavilion at the Regal Eagle Smokehouse

Our first snack from the Festival of the Arts was from Swirled Showcase. My son chose an adorable soft serve, served in a waffle cone, with Figment ears on it. The bright pink and purple ice cream was cotton candy flavored and melted very quickly. So quickly, I didn't get a photo of it.

My other son and I shared the Candy Trio Dole Whip Flight. This colorful treat came in three flavors of dole whip- Strawberry, Lemon, and Lime. The Lime Dole Whip also had a tart chili lime seasoning. To accompany the dole whips, there were three candies. Starburst Mini Fruit Chews, Freeze Dried Skittles, and Gummy Life Savers. My favorite flavor was the Strawberry with the Starburst candy. This snack was so unique and perfect for the festival, since it was presented in an artist's palate.

The other food items we tried for the Festival of the Arts was in the Japan Pavilion. We had the Wagyu Bun and the Sushi Donut. The bun was steamed and filled with American Wagyu beef and served with a Japanese karashi mustard and a violet shiso sauce. This savory snack was hearty, and the sauces were unique and full of flavor.

The Sushi Donut was donut-shaped rice, topped with salmon, tuna, shrimp, cucumber, and sesame seeds. It was served on a decorated plate with wasabi aioli, eel sauce, and siracha aioli. This was my son's pick, and he seemed to enjoy it. The slice of salmon I tried was great. Another fun item that fit well into the art theme with its presentation.

For dinner we ate at the Regal Eagle Smokehouse. This quick service spot in the American Pavilion features BBQ, plenty of sides, and craft cocktails. The seating area is large, the prices affordable, and the quality of the food really shines. By this point in our park day, the rain had really started, so this was a nice break from the weather for us.

We didn't order too much for the three of us, since we'd had a large lunch and been doing some snacking around the park.

My son had the Mac and Cheese, and it really stood out to most other kinds we've tried before. It was oven-baked using White Cheddar and topped with breadcrumbs.

To drink, I had a Tennessee Lemonade. This cocktail had Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey, lemonade, and peach. It was a great drink and paired well with my food.

I had the BBQ Fries which were topped with coleslaw, Sweet BBQ sauce, and a ketchup aioli. These hit the spot, but I wish I would have tried some actual BBQ, like the Brisket! They also have a large sauce bar with tons of options, which I forgot to try.

In the Germany Pavilion sits Karamell-Kuche, a caramel shop that temps you with its sweet smell as soon as you walk in. They have various Werther's Original items such as the caramel popcorn, baked goods, chocolate covered caramel, cookies, and much more. Here, we purchased a bag of the caramel popcorn, a Caramel Butter Bar, and a Mickey Chocolate Cookie Sandwich.

The Carmel Butter Bar almost melted in my mouth. So smooth, sweet, and buttery. I brought mine back home to Seattle to enjoy.

My son chose the Mickey Chocolate Cookie Sandwich, and this was the best thing I tried the whole trip. He let me try a bite and I loved how the cookie was like a rich brownie. But the caramel buttercream inside was so amazingly tasty and rich. I should have bought one for myself! They also have these cookies with a mint filling elsewhere.

In the Norway Pavillion, you'll find Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. Here, you can try the famous School Bread pastry. This Norwegian bun is filled with a vanilla custard and coated in icing and coconut. I saved mine for breakfast the next morning and found it a little sweet for that time of day. I recommend having it with coffee for an afternoon pick-me up!

We had fun trying some of the unique festival items and some of the classic items from The World Showcase! There were tons of things we didn't get to try, but that just means we'll have to return!
