Everything we ate and drank at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort

A Salted Caramel Churro Shake from the All-Star Movies food court. A perfectly sweet start to our Disney vacation!

My sons and I stayed six nights at All-Star Movies in Disney World. Although we ate most of our lunches and dinners in the parks and other resort hotels, we still ate most of our breakfasts and a few other meals at our resort. The food court is called The World Premiere Food Court and has a movie theme. We were pretty impressed with the meals and the wide array of Disney desserts and snacks. We mobile ordered our breakfast every day. This meant I ordered our food from my phone using the My Disney Experience app, then waited a bit for them to prepare it. This way we could skip the often-long lines, grab our food, and either eat it there or bring back to our room.

The first night when we arrived, it was a little late for dinner, probably around 9 pm. Since we were still on West Coast time, it still felt like 6 pm. We ate in the food court, which was tasty and pretty fast. My son wanted a resort mug. For $22.99, you can select a super cute and themed mug and refill it with fountain drinks, tea, and coffee, as many times as you'd like. You can refill your mug in any resort around WDW, just not in the parks. This also made a fun souvenir.

I tried the Citrus Basil Salmon, and it came with two sides. I chose steamed veggies and mashed potatoes. This tasted fresh and tasty, and I ate it pretty quickly, since I was hungry after the flight and walking around. My sons enjoyed some Chicken Strips and Fries.

My son and I were excited to try two unique Disney desserts. We got the Salted Caramel Churro Shake and the Loaded Sugar Cookie with Freeze Dried Skittles. The cookie was too sweet, even for us, but still so fun to try it!

I loved this rich shake. It was thick and pretty sweet, but I liked that since I was hungry and ready to grub. I grabbed a bite of one of the small churros before my sons ate them, and it was perfect! This treat was a fun start to our Disney trip.

On our first morning, our Magic Kingdom Day, we mobile ordered three kid's meals. Yes, at Disney, anyone can order from the kid's menu. The three of us got the Mickey Waffles, Potato Barrels, and one piece of sausage. When mobile ordering, the food comes in boxes, not on paper plates.

On our second morning, I mixed things up and ordered a Mickey Cinnamon Roll. Looks super cute, but definitely not the best tasting one we've tried.

The pool bar, Silver Screen Spirits, had a nice variety of frozen and fruity cocktails, all served in plastic glasses you can carry around the resort and back to your room. On our rest day from the parks, I treated myself to a Pina Colava. This Disney frozen cocktail is an upgraded version of a Pina Colada, but with Raspberry Puree. It was delicious and very enjoyable!

Also on our rest day, we had lunch at our hotel food court. We left around 2 pm for Disney Springs and spent the afternoon and evening there. For lunch I tried the Sesame Chicken with rice and veggies. This dish was the only item that wasn't great. The rice and broccoli were tasty, but the chicken was only slightly better than the frozen kind from the grocery store.

We bought this Mickey Chocolate Cupcake with Cookies 'N Cream frosting. The cake was moist, and the frosting was not overly sweet. Perfect for an Instagram photo, too!

I bought this Mickey-Shaped Brownie to bring back home and enjoy. Wouldn't recommend this one, since it tasted more like a store-bought brownie and nothing too special. But again, it made for a fun photo!

We ended up really liking the pizza slices! They were huge, but pricey at $11.99. You can get a whole pizza for just $20, but we only wanted one slice. This made a nice snack for us to share after a long park day!

On our last day, after checking out and leaving our bags with bell services, we wandered around our resort some more and then ate lunch in the food court. There were still some treats we hadn't tried that looked so good. I had this Lemon Meringue Croissant that tasted excellent, just like Lemon Meringue Pie. I ate half, and saved the other half for later, right before our flight.

I also tried the Strawberry Cheesecake, topped with a Mickey Shortbread. This looked amazing and so cute. I didn't love the poundcake- like crust, or the strawberry filling, but the small layer of cheesecake was so good and creamy!

Thanks for checking out the food and drinks we tried at All-Star Movies! Each resort around the WDW property is different and this is just one of many hotels. We were able to check out several Deluxe Disney Hotels and have some nice sit-down meals. I can't wait to share about our experiences. My next post will be about Magic Kingdom!
