Lunch at Fogo De Chao in Seattle for their All-Day Happy Hour

For lunch on Valentine's Day my husband and I wanted to go out for a nice meal. We didn't want anything too fussy, requiring reservations and a five-course meal. So going to an upscale lounge in downtown Seattle was the answer! We chose the newish Fogo De Chao, which we'd been wanting to visit since they opened last year. We've been to the Bellevue location and enjoyed their happy hour in their lounge. Fogo De Chao has an all-day happy hour, every day of the week. You really can't go wrong with that! 

They serve Brazilian food and the quality is great, especially for the happy hour prices in the lounge. You can grab a cocktail for just $10, and the food items range from just $6 to around $17.50. We showed up early, and had our pick of tables. We liked this space better than the Bellevue one, since this location has high ceilings and felt grander. The servers were so nice and welcoming. 

I started with a glass of Prosecco and my husband ordered the Gold Rush drink. This cocktail had bourbon and lemon and was very tasty. For our second round of drinks, I had the Superfruit Lemonade with Grand Marnier, strawberries, blueberries, and lemon. It was sweet, tart, and refreshing. He had the Samba Squeeze Martini which had Grey Goose Le Citron Vodka, St. Germain, blood orange, and guava. I love this martini and had it before at their Bellevue location.  

To eat we shared the Lamb Lollipops and the Filet Mignon Board. They also brought out a couple of orders of the complimentary soft cheesy rolls. We ordered both of our dishes medium rare, but unfortunately, they were both prepared medium with a tiny amount of pink. We really liked the Chimichurri sauce with the Filet Mignon. The Lamb Lollipops were also flavorful and paired well with our drinks. 

This was such a good pick for a relaxing Valentine's Day lunch in downtown Seattle! 

The complimentary soft cheesy rolls were so good, and even gluten-free.
