Free Holiday Events in Downtown Seattle

 

Iconic Destinations is this year's theme at the Gingerbread Village inside the Sheraton Grand Seattle! 

Every holiday season our family enjoys going to downtown Seattle and checking out some of the free events. My favorite is checking out the Gingerbread Village inside the Sheraton Grand Seattle. We loved this year's theme featuring travel destinations. We really liked seeing the London and Paris gingerbread displays! This annual event raises money and awareness for Type 1 Diabetes. This is the 30th year for this event! 

But first we checked out the Fleurs De Villes Noel inside Pacific Place where we parked. I believe this is the third year they've held this event in Seattle. It's fun to look at the floral art displays and installations. This year they have an Elf one that is really cool! 

We also enjoy gazing at the Christmas Tree in front of Westlake Center and walking across the street to Westlake Park to look a the lights. This year they have less lights, but way more selfie spots. There are at least five neat and festive photo backdrops for posing in front of, either solo or with friends and family!
