Trying the all-day Happy Hour at Fogo De Chao

A Blood Orange Manhattan, along with some happy hour eats at Fogo De Chao in Bellevue, WA. This high-end chain restaurant serves Brazilian cuisine, and this was our first visit!

My husband and I recently discovered a great happy hour deal in Bellevue. At Fogo De Chao, they have an all-day happy hour, every day, in their bar area. They have a nice-sized list of $6 small plates and several cocktails for $10.

This sounded too good to sleep on, so we went to check it out. We went at lunchtime, and the lunch crowds hadn't yet arrived. We had the entire bar area to ourselves until we were getting ready to leave. My guess it not many people know about this all day, every day happy hour. I won't gatekeep, so here's what we ordered!

My husband started with a Caramelized Pineapple Old Fashioned and I tried a Samba Squeeze Martini. My drink had Grey Goose Vodka, St-Germain, Blood Orange, and Guava. These handcrafted cocktails were made perfectly, and the flavor was spot-on with both. We shared three of the $6 happy hour plates. The first dish we tried was the Queijo Assado- Fire roasted Brazilian Cheese with honey. These square cheese bites were so good, especially with some honey drizzled on top.

Next, we had the Brazilian Empanadas which featured Picanha- which is beef, onions, and a chimichurri aioli sauce. Then they brought us our Spiced Chicken Sliders, which come three to an order. They also delivered some Warm Pao De Queijo, warm cheese bread. These were unexpected and so delicious. Our favorite bites were these and the Brazilian Cheese with honey. We also shared a Blood Orange Manhattan, which was delightfully citrusy and enjoyable.

Fogo De Chao can be a spendy dinner out. But if you want to take in the upscale atmosphere, enjoy some great cocktails while sampling some Brazilian small plates, just sit in the bar and order from the all day, every day happy hour menu!
