A Visit to The Alley in Seattle's Chinatown

An Ube Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk from The Alley!

Chinatown recently got a new spot for Boba Tea- The Alley. I tried their tea a while back in Vancouver, BC. See a link to that post at the bottom of this one. I remember liking the interior of the store and how tasty my drink was. I was happy to see they opened a location here in Seattle. They also have stores in CA, CO, and Texas here in the U.S, and others in Canada. Their deer logo is so cute and their tapioca peals are called Deerioca. I love how fresh and perfectly made the drinks are at The Alley. I can really taste the quality, and the tapioca pearls are soft and full of brown sugar flavor.

The drink that caught my eye was the Ube Brown Sugar Derrioca Creme Brulee Milk. Super long name, pretty pricey at over $8, but served in a big cup. This drink took me a while to enjoy, something that's not a bad thing at all. I loved the ube and brown sugar flavor, and the pieces of the creme brulee pudding was so creamy and nice.

The store is bright and clean, and reminded me of the shops in Vancouver, BC. They don't take cash, only cards. You order on a screen, and you can customize your drink. I asked for less ice, and it seems like I had more liquid than normal, which was nice. I was the only one in the store ordering, so my drink took just a minute to make.

I was happily surprised by how good my drink was, and how pretty it looked. What a special summer drink to enjoy mid-week!
