The Georgetown Carnival 2023

The luscious Stuffed Nutella S'mores cookie from Lowrider Cookie Co in Georgetown.

It had been four years since the last Georgetown Carnival in Seattle. Looking back at my older blog posts, we attended every year from 2015 until 2019. This event was put on hold because of the pandemic, but this year it was back.

The Georgetown Carnival is kind of a funky and artsy event with live music, clowns, games, food vendors, and more. This year, there was only a couple of food vendors. They had some Beer Gardens that looked fun, but I brought my son with me, therefore I couldn't imbibe. He was afraid of the clown wandering around, and in his defense, the clown was scary looking. My son did enjoy the Power Tool Drag Races, where you could watch toy cars racing and exploding! I liked seeing all of the cute dogs everywhere.

They also had a huge ten-foot-tall spider that actually moved, and my son was freaked out over that, too. Needless to say, the two of us didn't hang around the carnival long. I stayed long enough to get some photos, and buy some cookies at our favorite cookie trailer, Lowrider Cookie Company

We bought two Birthday Cake cookies for the other half of our family at home, and my son selected a S'more cookie. I chose the Stuffed Nutella S'mores cookie that was extra thick, gooey, and rich.
