Dinner at Mo's Seafood and Chowder in Florence, OR

Cheers to cocktails and seafood at Mo's with views of the Siuslaw River.

When visiting the Oregon Coast, treating yourself to some local seafood is a must. One tried and true spot with lots of locations along the OR Coast is Mo's. During our stay in Florence, we dined there and enjoyed some really good seafood and drinks. Mo's is fun because they have a giant gift shop right when you enter. This location also had fun beach themed signs everywhere. But the views of the Siuslaw River and the seafood are the real draw.

My husband and I started with a cocktail. He had a Long Island and I enjoyed one of Mo's signature drinks, a Sea Breeze. To eat, he had the Cod Fish and Chips and I had the Cod Fish Tacos. They were so delicious and fresh and had a spicy jalapeno garlic cilantro cabbage. There were three corn tortilla tacos, and the cod was flour dusted and grilled. I was impressed with the tacos and would order them again. My son tried shrimp for the first time. He ordered the kid's Fried Shimp with Fries and he loved them. Our other son had the grilled cheese with fries, and it disappeared fast.

Our server was really sweet and attentive, taking a family photo for us and chatting with us. Mo's is such a fun spot to eat at on the Oregon Coast!
