Dinner at The Lodge Sports Grille in South Lake Union

Poutine with Pulled Pork Gravy from The Lodge Sports Grille.

The Lodge Sports Grille recently opened in Seattle's SLU. This is the place to watch some sports, have happy hour, and get your grub on. They have a daily happy hour from 2:20 until 6 pm. We brought our boys along, and they even have a kids' menu.

I started off with a Prickly Peartini and my husband had a Pacific Punch. Both drinks were fruity and fun! I ordered the Poutine and he had the Pear and Gorgonzola Flat Bread. Our sons had the Mac and Cheese and the Grilled Cheese and Fries from the kids' menu. The food was your standard sports bar food. My serving of Poutine was huge, so I saved half for the next day. The fries were some of my favorite kind, some sidewinder fries.

My husband and I also shared a Lavender Gin Daisy. If you love lavender flavored foods, you'll love this cocktail. It was a little heavy on the lavender flavor for us though. For dessert, we all shared the doughnuts. They come on a super cute tree! Just grab one of the mini doughnuts from a branch. They're served with a side of raspberry sauce for dipping. This was a really fun and unique dessert!

If you're in the area and want to watch the game, check this spot out!
