Brunch at the Bacchanal Buffet at Ceasars Palace

The desserts at Bacchanal were 10 out of 10!

I'd heard about the Bacchanal Buffet at Ceasars Palace for years, and it sounded like the place to go. I heard it was the biggest and best buffet in Vegas. With over 500 dishes to try, how could it not be? It's really expensive, however, so we went for brunch, which is a little less but still pricey. You have to make a reservation, or you won't get in. When we arrived, we still had to wait in a long line for about twenty minutes. I knew we wouldn't get our money's worth, but I thought it would be a fun and yummy experience.

We got seated and took turns getting food. It was really busy, and the Asian section had a line so long I didn't get to try any of the food. Since it was brunch, there was a pancake and waffle station, smoothies and juice, cheese and nuts, and yogurt and granola. But first, we checked out the savory American and Mexican stations. They have roasted corn, which is unique. The quality of the meat cuts were good. I had some really decent Beef Brisket with a Peppercorn sauce. It was hot and really tender. We also really liked the Chicken and Waffles. My son enjoyed a Red Velvet Waffle. My sons like bread, so I made sure to get lots of bread and rolls for them. The pizza area had a nice selection and was really tasty.

The dessert area impressed me. Lots and lots of choices! We had some Gelato, French Macarons, cheesecake and cupcakes. We also tried some Caramel Mousse, an Ube tart, a S'mores tart, and a unique yogurt dessert that looked like a sunny side up egg. They also have a full bar, so my husband had a Manhattan. We left super full. I was glad we were walking back to our hotel to burn a little off.

We also checked out Caesars Palace a bit. The Forum Shops are always fun to look at. It's a large mall with lots of levels. They also just finished construction on the main lobby. The resort is huge and I was happy we found Bacchanal. Thank goodness for the signs in all of the hotels.
