A Stay at the Venetian Resort

Our family stayed at the Venetian during our three night trip to Las Vegas. It was a dream of mine to stay there and I wanted to check out more of the property as well as see the rooms. The Venetian has the biggest standard sized rooms on the strip. Each room is a suite and is 650 square feet. When you enter your room, there's a hallway, a large bathroom, and an area with a king-sized bed. Then a couple of steps down is a living room area with a pullout couch and chairs, a desk, and a dining table with four chairs. There are three tv's in the suite. One in the bathroom, one by the bed, and one in the living room part. The bathroom has a tub and a shower, and a separate room for the toilet. I also really liked the makeup table with a chair and a makeup mirror.

I didn't like how there was no mini fridge for water and leftovers. There is a mini fridge, but it has sensors and you'll be charged for the item if you even touch it. There's also water and snacks on the table you'll be charged for if you move them. The resort fees are also $50 a night which can add up fast.

The resort is big and there's tons of restaurants and things to do. We had a lot of fun exploring. They also have the Grand Canal Shoppes. This is a mall with lots of luxury shopping, restaurants, and bars. They have gondola rides, and you can choose either inside or outside. The canals go through the Grand Canal Shoppes and in the front of the resort.

The Palazzo is connected to the Venetian, and there's a really cool waterfall atrium area in between the two resorts. The Love sculpture is a really popular place for photos. They currently have a Chinese New Year display with a giant tiger, since this year is the year of the tiger.

The Venetian and the Palazzo are a super fun place to stay, explore, and dine out in Vegas.
