Dinner at Las Margaritas in Kitsilano

A half order of Nachos from the happy hour menu at Las Margaritas in Vancouver. 

After hanging out at Kitsilano Beach in Vancouver, we were ready for some dinner. We chose Las Margaritas simply because it was close by. It was still early for dinner so we were seated right away, and it was happy hour. Their happy hour menu was solid. The slushy margaritas were only $5 and they had a good selection of food for cheap.

I chose the half order of nachos which was only $7. The portion was huge though, and I could only eat half. These were awesome nachos. Just covered in cheese and goodness. The jalapeños on top gave them quite a kick, too. My husband had a Blue Hawaiian Margarita and a Chicken Chimichanga. Our boys had rice and chicken strips. After checking out their website later that night, I learned they've been open since 1994 and its quite a popular spot for Mexican food in Vancouver. They have a patio that gets packed in the warmer months.
