Brunch at Pancake Chef
This past weekend, my aunt and her friend had a layover at Sea-Tac. They had some time to hang out with my family and I. We chose to go out for brunch nearby at Pancake Chef. Located just a mile from the airport, this all day breakfast joint has been open since 1959. Some friends had recommended it a while back and raved about the German Pancake. I ordered one along with some apple compote to put on top. My sons each had the Chocolate Chip Pancakes and my husband had the Chicken Fried Steak. My German Pancake took some extra time to make, but it was way worth it. It was dense, soft, and custardy. The apples on top were just right. The pancake was huge, so I saved half for later. The Pancake Chef is the perfect spot to grab a hearty breakfast before or after a flight!
