Lunch at Pizza Harbor in Seaside

A cheese pull like this is all one needs in life.
During this year's visit to Seaside, we tried a pizza place we hadn't dined at before. Pizza Harbor has been open since 1979 and is a relaxed and casual pizza spot for the whole family. You order at the counter and then take a seat at one of the long communal tables. They even have video games in the back. There also have beer and wine to pair with the pizza. My husband had a local Buoy Beer in a frosted mug.

We ordered a pizza with half cheese and half pepperoni. We also started with some of their Garlic Cheese Bread. That came out first and I think it was the cheesiest bread ever. The cheese pulls were one for the books. They brought the pizza out to us and we dug right in. The crust was thin and it was full of pepperoni. The pizza was also perfectly cheesy. For the amount of pep, it wasn't overly greasy. For some reason, the pizza wasn't very salty. Maybe the sauce could have used more salt. I am pretty picky with pizza, since it's my favorite food and I've eaten many kinds over the years. However, the locals love this spot and is the "Locals Choice" year after year.
