Eleven spots for food adventures at Pike Place Market

You don't have to be a tourist to enjoy Pike Place Market. And if you love food, the choices are endless for where to have a memorable meal, a satisfying snack, or have a tasty treat you won't forget!

Over the years I've tasted some great stuff at the Market and there are still plenty of places left to try. Here are eleven spots for food at Pike Place Market if you're visiting Seattle, or even if you've lived here for years and need a little inspiration.
Café Campagne is a French restaurant located at 1600 Post Alley. Their Happy Hour is one of the best in Seattle and perfect for dining outside during the warmer months. Post Alley is a quiet spot in the Market and just right for people watching.
Located at 1902 Pike Place is Le Panier. You'll find many delights to treat yourself to. Don't forget to try a macaron like this Raspberry one. It was so light, sweet, and fluffy like a cloud.
A must stop for a quick slice of pizza or a sandwich or a sweet snack is DeLaurenti Food and Wine at 1435 1st. Ave. Their pastries and cookies are mouthwatering and pretty!
Since 1983 Pike Place Bakery has been selling donuts and they're, well, they're big. I tried a German Chocolate Donut and I couldn't get over the size. It took me two sittings to polish off. So go grab a donut and walk around the Market. You're going to need to burn those calories off and what better place than there? Find Pike Place Bakery at 1501 Pike Place.
Crepe De France crepes will blow you away and they even have beer and wine. Their crepes are fresh and they have both sweet and savory ones. I tried a ham and cheese crepe with a Mimosa and enjoyed both. Find them at 93 Pike St. #204.
Another great happy hour in the Market can be found at Maximilein. Just get there quickly to grab a seat, especially in the summer months when you can dine outside. And what a view it is! They are located at 81A Pike St.
A memorable dinner at Pike Place Market can be found at Steelhead Diner. Their Alaskan Razor Clam Chowder is a standout and the rest of their menu is high quality and not your usual "diner food" at all. Its a good option for seafood in the Market. Its located at 95 Pine St.
Whatever you do, run, don't walk to a Daily Dozen Doughnut Co. Just bring cash, or you'll be sorry. Part of the fun is watching them bag your doughnuts. They toss them high into the air and catch them in the bag. They're also inexpensive and super good doughnuts. Find them at 93 Pike St. #7.
Beecher's Handmade Cheese is the place to go to watch some cheese-making and sample some classic mac & cheese. The lines can be long but Beecher's is an institution and shouldn't be missed when visiting Pike Place Market. Get your cheese on at 1600 Pike Pl.
Ready for some ice cream? Head to Shug's Soda Fountain and Ice Cream. They have a bright and whimsical shop with many unique ice creams to choose from. Pictured here is their Dixie Split. It has Bruleed Banana, Vanilla Ice Cream, Caramel, Candied Pecans, Whip Cream, and a cherry. Get yours at 1525 1st Ave.
The Crumpet Shop is a cute shop where you'll feel transported to England. They serve housemade crumpets, scones, tea, and coffee. Crumpets are what we know here in the States as English Muffins. At The Crumpet Shop you can choose from many unique toppings for your crumpet. We tried one with an egg and cream cheese and one with Maple Butter. They've been making Crumpets since 1976 and you can find them at 1503 1st Ave.
