While in Vegas, we had the chance to eat at several celebrity chef spots. Besides
Bobby's Burger Paradise for a quick burger, we also had lunch at the casual sit-down restaurant owned by
Guy Fieri at the Linq and the more upscale
Giada, by Giada De Laurentiis, at the Cromwell. Guy Fieri's had a distressed look with sculls and the waiters wore jeans and vests. The menu was mostly pub food with nachos and wings. It was a fun place and the food was unique. My husband had chicken wings and I had Pepperoni bread sticks served with a cheese fondue for dipping, and we also shared a Greek Salad to get our vegetable on.
We both loved Giada and it was our favorite meal of the trip. Her restaurant is elegant and decorated beautifully in her style. The food was also incredible and the cocktails, although spendy, were strong and super tasty. We each had pizza which we shared with our sons. Then for dessert, we got the much awaited Zeppoles, Italian doughnuts, that had been on my list to try for awhile and hard to find. They were both fun lunches out in Las Vegas!

My husband sipped on a Bloody Mary that was decked all out with goodies! |
I drank a Mimosa, which I got for free from a coupon book I received when checking into our hotel. Don't forget to check those things out-I saved over twenty bucks! |
My cocktail at Giada was called the G and it had Kappa Pisco, pineapple, fresh lime, homemade apricot preserves, and Angostura Bitters. |
My husband's drink was called the Serpico and had an ice cube in the shape of a G for Giada. It had
Angel’s Envy Port Cask Aged Bourbon, Lustau Pedro Ximenez Sherry, and Carpano Antica Vermouth.

My pizza was the Salumi Piccante and was some of the best pizza ever. It had spicy dry sausage, san marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, and oregano.
The other pizza we got was the Margherita and it had oven roasted campari tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. |
The Zeppoles from Giada were also incredible and I loved the chocolate G on the plate. |
